Instructions for On-line Application for Railway Concession

  1. Students are required to go to their respective department’s laboratory and have to apply Online for Railway Concession through the College Intranet.
  2. The URL for an intranet is http://portal.sakec.local/metsmartcampus/
  3. Click on the Student zone.
  4. Login with your Registration number and Password. Password will be your Date of Birth (DOB) in MM/DD/YYYY i.e. (Month/Date/Year) format once your application is submitted; again you have to insert your password i.e. MM/DD/YYYY click on the apply button.
  5. The system will display students’ season ticket pass details and students have to enter the four-digit numbers at the top right corner of the current Railway Concession Pass in the specified field. Otherwise, you won’t be eligible for a concession pass.
  6. Students have to apply for a Railway Concession Pass 5 days before the Current Pass expiry date only.
  7. Students who have lost the concession pass, will not be able to receive a new pass until the expiry of the current pass.
  8. The student will get an email alert once the railway concession pass is ready (ensuring that your registered e-mail is correct) for collecting from 12.15 pm to 2.00 pm at the office.
