SAKEC offers its students a state of the art infrastructure. This is essential to support effective teaching and learning. Classrooms at SAKEC are equipped with modern teaching facilities like Digital Smart Boards, Ceiling Mounted Projectors, WiFi Internet access and well designed sitting areaa.
Laboratories
A place of Innovation Outstanding laboratories in SAKEC are an ergo-assistive work-study environment open to students and faculty, which enrich the whole teaching-learning process. The laboratories offer the opportunities for students to work and achieve their task with ease of operation in their area of interest. SAKEC has 50+ Laboratories which are equipped with Advanced Softwares, Hardwares, latest equipment and training kits for Electronics, Communication and Networking Laboratories, High End Systems with wired and wireless internet connectivity via a campus-wide WiFi for Advanced computation and simulation.
Computer Center
Information on the click : SAKEC uses e-mail, SMS, Website and other social media tools for making communication faster among the stake-holders. All the students have been provided with personalized e-mail on college domain. Important notifications are sent through SMS and e-mail.
Library
A temple of learning, the library at SAKEC, is an integrated knowledge resource center that is stocked with over 21275 books, 50 printed periodicals, a large collection of books related to the curriculum and a few books related to self improvement and personality development. It is spacious, well ventilated and well furnished with a huge reading hall. The library subscribes to a number of national and international journals (IEEE, J-Gate, ScienceDirect, McGraw-Hill Books, Springer. ASTM, EBSCO, Videeya Ebooks) devoted to technical subjects to help students stay informed with the latest developments. Annual expenditure on books, periodicals, online/print Journal etc. is approximately 60 lakhs per year. SAKEC library is an institutional member of IIT Bombay and TISS library. It has also joined the National Digital Library as a member.
Auditorium
SAKEC has a state of the art auditorium with excellent audio visual facilities and a seating capacity for 250+ people. We’ve used this auditorium for meetings, conferences, presentations and events with students, faculty members, guests and various speakers.
Seminar Hall
SAKEC has air-conditioned seminar halls with latest multimedia systems and large digital screens for lectures, conferences and presentations.
Indoor Sports Facilities
Students can have some fun playing a few indoor games while on the SAKEC campus. They can enjoy a game of carrom, chess or table tennis. The indoor sports center is a hang-out place where students get to take a break from academic pursuits and unwind. SAKEC also hosts many competitions regularly on campus. The college provides many opportunities to students to bring out their talents and improve their leadership qualities.
Gymnasium
At SAKEC, students aren’t exercising just their minds but their bodies too at our state-of-the-art gym. The gym is air conditioned, has all the necessary equipment and is supervised at all times. The cherry on top is that it is free of cost for its students.
Girls Common Room
Be with your ‘Girl-Gang’ SAKEC provides a large state-of-art separate female student common area, allowing freedom for students to socialise and catch up with assignments. Within the student common area, there are gym equipment with professional sports trainer to live fit and healthy. Additionally, the college offers a self-contained microwave oven and kettle
e-Certification
To enhance the technical knowledge of students SAKEC E-certification cell creates awareness about various free and paid online technical courses and certification available online. SAKEC has NPTEL local chapter where various technical online courses delivered by IITS faculty are available. Additionally, SAKEC has collaboration with IIT Bombay (IITB) to provide software education in the form of Spoken Tutorial to all our students. On successful completion of the online lest, our students get certificates from IIT Bombay FREE OF COST. These certifications are useful for the student for empowering their knowledge in various disciples of science and engineering
