B. Tech in Department of Electronics (VLSI Design & Technology) was established in 2023. This branch is more specialized in VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) of Integrated Circuits. The branch comprises of Design, Testing and manufacturing of Semiconductor ICs. The government of India has already launched allied policies, signed MoUs with various companies ( National and International). International government and companies are also setting up testing and manufacturing plants in India. This will open immense job and research opportunities for freshers and will lead India Semiconductor Mission towards the building of the bright future of VLSI Design aspirants. The branch has different Thrust Area for research and innovation like Front End Design,Back end Design, Embedded Systems, IOT and Emerging Trend in VLSI ( AI/ML in VLSI,RF Design, Autonomous Vehicles, Nanotechnology). Faculties have excellent strength in different domains with Industry Experience and Research in VLSI. We also providing a platform for learning to Faculty by motivating them to participate in Faculty Development programs, Short term training program and industry based internships. The department has signed MoU with large VLSI company and plan to collaborate with many companies. We have IESA(Indian Electronics Semiconductor Association) membership to build strong relationships of Industry-Academia . The department has smart classrooms and well equipped laboratories with standard industry based EDA(Electronic Design Automation) tools like Cadence, Tanner, Xilinx etc. Here, we are providing a platform and giving opportunities to students by moulding them in the journey of research, innovation, start-up, Campus to corporate, and building greater India.
