The IETE Technical Zonal Seminar held on 29th March 2025 at L&T Skill Trainers Academy, Mumbai, was a comprehensive and insightful event aimed at bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industrial skill requirements. Organized by IETE, the seminar brought together experts and participants to explore the evolving landscape of Industry 4.0 and 5.0. The event was attended by Dr. Rohan Borgalli, faculty member from the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department of Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC), along with eight students from the same department. The seminar began with an inaugural address on India’s vision of becoming a global skill capital, followed by expert sessions on emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, automation, and the adoption of industrial tools for enhancing operational efficiency. Students also engaged in technical paper presentations, showcasing innovative ideas aligned with current industrial advancements. A guided tour of L&T’s state-of-the-art training facilities offered hands-on exposure to modern simulation tools and equipment. The seminar served as a valuable platform for students and faculty to gain practical insights into the skills and technologies shaping the future of engineering and industry.
