Launch of SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship Programme 2025

Subject: Launch of SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship Programme 2025 – Reg.

The SBI Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of the State Bank of India, has launched its flagship initiative titled “SBI Platinum Jubilee Asha Scholarship Programme 2025.” This significant programme aims to empower 23,230 meritorious students from underprivileged backgrounds across India, enabling them to pursue their academic aspirations with dignity and confidence.

Under this programme, financial assistance ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,00,000 per annum will be provided to eligible students from Class 9 up to postgraduate levels, until completion of their respective courses.

Categories Covered:

  • School Students: Class 9 to 12
  • Undergraduate Students: Enrolled in institutions ranked up to NIRF 300 or accredited with NAAC Grade A
  • MBBS Students: Enrolled in institutions ranked up to NIRF 300 or accredited with NAAC Grade A
  • Postgraduate Students: Enrolled in institutions ranked up to NIRF 300 or accredited with NAAC Grade A
  • Scholars at IITs and IIMs
  • SC/ST Students: Pursuing Master’s or higher education abroad at Top 200 QS-ranked universities

Out of the total 23,230 beneficiaries, 20,000 students will be supported under the School category across all States and Union Territories, and 3,230 students will be supported at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. All institutions are requested to:

  • Disseminate this information among their students through notice boards, institutional websites, and social media platforms.
  • Encourage eligible students to apply for the scholarship under the appropriate category.
  • Provide necessary guidance and documentation support to applicants, wherever required.
