On January 17, 2024, SAKEC’s Technology Business Incubator (TBI) hosted a dynamic and interactive Product Development Workshop in Lab 302, 3rd Floor, SAKEC. The workshop aimed to provide participants with comprehensive insights into the intricacies of product development, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the challenging landscape of bringing ideas to fruition.
9:30 AM – 9:45 AM: Registration and Networking
The event kicked off with a seamless registration process, allowing participants to network with each other and set the tone for a collaborative learning experience.
9:45 AM – 10:00 AM: Opening Address
The workshop commenced with an inspiring opening address by Mr. Rohan Borgalli, Incharge of SAKEC TBI, setting the stage for a day of exploration, innovation, and creation. Attendees were encouraged to embrace the workshop’s theme: “Elevate. Innovate. Create.”
10:00 AM – 10:45 AM: Keynote Session – Fundamentals of Product Development
Renowned experts in product development delved into the fundamentals, covering key stages from ideation to market launch. Practical insights and real-world examples were shared, providing participants with a solid foundation.
10:45 AM – 11:15 AM: Case Studies and Success Stories
Engaging case studies and success stories were presented, showcasing diverse product development journeys. Participants gained valuable perspectives on overcoming challenges and leveraging opportunities in the dynamic field of product development.
11:15 AM – 12:15 AM: Hands-on Workshop and Group Activities
Participants actively engaged in hands-on workshops and group activities, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. This interactive session fostered collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Some projects undertaken by students are presented and demonstrated in front of everyone to give insights of working projects.
12:15 PM – 12:30 PM: Discussion and Q&A
