The moment is here! We are officially launching the Google Developer Group (GDG) on our campus, and the first step is to build a passionate and driven Core Team to lead the charge.
This is a unique opportunity to not just join a club, but to build it from the ground up. As a core member, you will shape the future of the tech community at SAKEC, gain invaluable leadership experience, and connect directly with industry networks.
We are looking to fill 6 key leadership roles. Find your fit below:
Meet the Core Team Roles:
1. Technical Lead
Your Mission: To be the tech powerhouse of the group. You’ll plan and conduct hands-on workshops, lead coding sessions (Study Jams), and keep the club updated with the latest in Google technologies.
2. Documentation Lead
Your Mission: To be the storyteller and knowledge keeper. You will craft clear session reports, create helpful tutorials, and manage all written content, ensuring our activities are well-documented and accessible.
3. Publicity Lead
Your Mission: To be the voice of GDG SAKEC. You’ll manage our social media presence, create buzz for events, write engaging announcements, and handle all outreach to students and potential partners.
4. Graphics/Design Lead
Your Mission: To be the creative visionary. You will design all our visual content—from eye-catching event posters and social media graphics to branding assets that define our identity.
5. Operations Lead
Your Mission: To be the master of execution. You will handle the A-to-Z logistics of all events, manage timelines, coordinate with college authorities, and ensure every session runs flawlessly.
6. Photography Lead
Your Mission: To capture the moments that define our community. You will be responsible for covering all our events, taking high-quality photos and videos to help build a vibrant visual story for our club.
