🚀BLOCKCHAIN DEVELOPMENT: A HANDS-ON APPROACH WITH SOLIDITY– SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2025

The Department of Computer Engineering at Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC), in collaboration with the Internship Cell and the Web 3.0 Centre of Excellence, successfully organized an 11-day offline internship titled “Blockchain Development: A Hands-On Approach with Solidity” from June 9 to June 21, 2025.
The training was conducted by Dr. Madhuri Jadhav, an Ethereum Certified expert in blockchain development, who guided participants through an intensive hands-on learning experience. The program covered a comprehensive range of topics including blockchain fundamentals, Solidity programming, smart contract development and deployment using tools like Remix IDE and Ganache, and decentralized application (DApp) development using Web3.js.
Over the course of the internship, students developed real-world blockchain applications such as Smart Wallets, ERC20 Token Sale, NFT Contracts, Lottery Systems, and Crowdfunding Platforms. The sessions also included insightful discussions and case studies across domains like supply chain, healthcare, energy, insurance, and legal applications, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
A total of 31 participants benefited from the program, including students from various departments of SAKEC, BCA department of Smt. P.N. Doshi Women’s College, Ghatkopar, and a faculty member from NMIMS (MBA). The diverse group fostered cross-disciplinary and inter-institutional learning and collaboration.
The valedictory session was graced by our respected trustees Shri Navinbhai Shah and Shri Piyushbhai Shah, along with Principal Dr. Bhavesh Patel sir, who presented certificates to all successful participants. The department also acknowledges the valuable support and presence of Dr. Vidyullata Devmane Madam, Head of the Computer Engineering Department, whose encouragement greatly contributed to the success of the event.
The internship was coordinated by Prof. Krupa Chotai and Prof. Swati Suchak, Assistant Professors in the Computer Engineering Department, ensuring the smooth and effective execution of the program.
This internship served as a valuable platform for students to gain practical exposure to cutting-edge blockchain technologies and prepared them for the evolving demands of the Web3 and decentralized application space.
