Infosys Springboard

Infosys Springboard is a Digital literacy program launched as part of the Infosys ESG Tech for Good charter. Infosys Springboard is a cutting-edge digital learning platform that provides access to a diverse array of certification tracks and upskilling programs (most of the time free of cost) designed to equip learners with industry-relevant skills and knowledge. The platform is provided under three tracks.

  1. Technology: Explore certification programs in areas like cloud computing, data analytics, and cyber security to stay ahead in the fast-paced tech landscape.
  2. Business: Gain invaluable insights and skills in domains such as project management, digital marketing, and entrepreneurship to enhance your business acumen.
  3. Soft Skills: Develop essential soft skills like communication, critical thinking, and leadership to become a well-rounded professional.

Red Hat Certification

Red Hat is the largest open-source company in the world and the leading provider of enterprise open-source software solutions. Red Hat has 30 years invested in open projects and technologies.
Red Hat Academy is an educational program designed to provide students and professionals with training and certification in Red Hat technologies. It offers a range of courses on Linux, cloud computing, containerization, automation, and other open-source technologies used by Red Hat. The academy partners with universities, colleges, and training centers globally, enabling access to hands-on labs, courseware, and certification exams to help learners develop valuable skills for careers in IT infrastructure, DevOps, and software development.
Through the academy, Red Hat helps bridge the skills gap by training individuals and IT professionals to work with Red Hat’s technologies, ensuring they are well-prepared for the modern, open-source-based IT infrastructure that many organizations use. The program also helps in developing a pipeline of skilled professionals who are certified and knowledgeable about Red Hat’s solutions.
In the academic year 2018-2019, Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Red Hat Linux, becoming an Academic Red Hat Linux Partner. This collaboration provides students with a valuable opportunity to enroll in the Red Hat Linux International Certification courses, including preparation for the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exams. The program is designed to offer comprehensive theoretical knowledge alongside extensive hands-on lab exercises, ensuring students gain practical experience with Red Hat technologies.

Class for self-pace course RH104 was started for students (Amey N., Shlok R., Maanvi B., Gayatri T., Saahil, Satshil Narkhede) duration 07/08/2024-07/10/2024. Four students (Amey N., Shlok R., Maanvi B., Gayatri T.) completed the training of course

Webinar on Career guidance on Redhat linux and DevOps conducted (17/08/2024) to create awareness about Linux certification among the students. Ms. Bhagyashree Bhat, Director, BITS was the Speaker of the webinar.

ISTE approved one week short term program on “Linux Server Administration” held during 02.01.2023 to 07.01.2023 organized by Department of Computer Engineering & Department of Electronics and Computer Science Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Shreeshail Devmane completed training on Linux fundamentals and Advanced Server configuration in September 2023

Academic Year 2022-2023

Sarim Qureshi (student of Information technology department) cleared Red Hat Certified System Administrator Exam (with 210/300 marks) on 8th June 2023.

Academic Year 2020-2021

The journey of SAKEC as a Red Hat Linux Academic partner has been a successful one.
Our student Veerapathiramoorthy Pillai from Final year Computer Engineering has proven that a “Pandemic situation is not a problem but, an opportunity for those who want to succeed at any cost”.

He has become the Second Red Hat Certified System Administrator of the institute. He appeared for the RHCSA examination on 10th November 2020 and scored 300 out of 300 marks.

The SAKEC family wishes him Heartiest Congratulations on his achievement and best wishes for the future. More students from our college will be appearing for the exam soon.

It’s just the beginning! Awaiting much more success from our students.

Academic Year 2019-2020

Mr.Rohit Mutalik Student of TE-IT has completed Red Hat Certification on 20th February 2020.

It’s our pleasure to announce that the inauguration ceremony of Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) global certifications training course was conducted on 6th August 2019. The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of our managing trustee Shree.Navinbhai Shah, Principal Dr. Bhavesh Patel, Vice Principal Dr. V.C. Kotak, I/c Head of Department (Electronics Engineering) Dr. Subha Subramaniam, I/c Head of Department (Computer Engineering) Prof. Uday Bhave along with Industry experts Ms. Archana Kharat and Mr. Amit Ladge. Computer Engineering department has taken this initiative to provide a golden opportunity for students to enhance their knowledge and skills. The ceremony was concluded with the motivational speech of Principal Dr. Bhavesh Patel which further boosted enthusiasm among participants. The ceremony followed by the first session of the course conducted by industry expert Mr. Ramesh Karat and Mr. Amit Ladge.
Due to limited seats following students has been selected to grab this golden opportunity which will help them to become an enterprise ready with a skill set of Red Hat global certification. Students have completed their training with extreme enthusiasm.
