Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC) as an esteemed educational institute feels proud to announce that our teams
“Coll_SAKEC_2” has ranked 2nd nationally and 21st internationally
“Coll_SAKEC_1” has ranked 3rd nationally and 22nd internationally

The DATA MINING CUP (DMC) has inspired students around the world to pursue intelligent data analysis since the year 2000. This year 78 teams from 59 universities in 23 countries took part in the competition.

Consecutively for 4 years, teams from SAKEC have outperformed in the Data Mining Cup.

We congratulate each and every member of the team for their exceptional performance. The team “Coll_SAKEC_2” consisted of Naman Desai, Rummaan Ahmad, Sachin Singh, and Shivam Prajapati guided by mentors Ms. Ashwini Deshmukh and Ms. Komal Patil. The team “Coll_SAKEC_1” consisted of Atik Mujawar, Akash Makwana, Anirudh Gupta, and Apurva Shardul guided by mentors Ms. Manya Gidwani and Ms.Theres Bemila Jenet. We truly believe that these teams have enthusiastically participated and taken immense efforts.

Prof. Y. K. Bhushan Most Influential Professors Award

Ms. Swati Nadkarni (HOD, IT Department) for her distinguished recognition as the recipient of the esteemed Late Prof. Y. K. Bhushan Most Influential Professors citation at the 12th Edition of the World Education Congress 2023 on 13th of July, 2023, at the Taj Lands End Mumbai.

Indian Patent Grant

Dr. Jalpa Darshit Mehta has been officially granted the Indian Patent on “SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING SEVERITY OF LEPROSY FROM ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS” for the term of 20 years on 14th March, 2025. This achievement is a testament to the dedication to innovation in healthcare technology and the mission to revolutionize early detection and diagnosis of leprosy using electronic health records.

ORDINARY APPLICATION Patent

Ms. Smita Bansod received the patent titled as AN INTELLIGENT APPROACH TO MONITORING THE EFFICIENCY OF A PROTECTED BLOCKCHAIN-BASED HEALTHCARE FACILITY in ordinary application category in 2023.

MSJ Award

Mr.Manish Bhelande, the recipient of esteemed MSJ Award for excellence contribution in field of Education on 17th July 2023 at Mayor Hall,Andheri, Mumbai.

Best Paper Award

Dr. Saurabh Suman got the best paper award in the International Conference on Data Computation and Communication (ICDCC-2024) held on November, 29th-30th 2024 at VIT Bhopal University,Madhya Pradesh,India.

QUIZ WINNER

Ms. Pramila Shinde emerged as a winner in QUIZ DAY 4 held on 4th August 2023 as First Prize Winner for Seasonal School: Revolutionary Solutions for Biomedical Signal and Image Analysis using AI (ReSBiSIA_AI-2023). It was jointly organized by IEEE SPS SCET SB and IEEE SPS CKPCET SB in association with IEEE SPS Gujrat Chapter between 1st Aug to 5th Aug 2023.

Winner in SMART INDIA HACKATHON 2023

Mr. Sarthak Deshmukh, Mr. Yash Kesharwani Students of IT department of Team AssetSentinels for winning a First prize of Worth Rs. 1 lakh Rupees at the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2023 conducted at Nodal center OP Jindal University Raigarh (C.G.) from 19th to 20th December 2023.

Carrom Winner

IT students Ms. Ambati Laya and Mr. Vighnesh Sadaye won 1st Prize in Carrom Double in XAVION 2024.

Mr. Vighnesh Sadaye won 1st Prize in Carrom single in D Y Patil Deemed TO Be University 2024.

Boxing Winner

Winner at Spiritual Youth Parliament: Well-being and Better World

The Department of Information Technology congratulates TY IT Student Mr. Yogesh Tiwari for winning the Spiritual Youth Parliament: Well-being and Better World which was held from 16-20 June 2023 at Mount Abu, India. It was organized by the Youth Wing of RERF, Brahma Kumaris and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Second Prize in International Project Competition

SAKEC students team bagged 2nd prize in track 3 at international level project
competition IEEE YESIST 12 INNOVATION CHALLENGE TRACK organized by
KLEIT IEEE student branch. A group of 3 BE IT students and 1 mentor from the
Information Technology Department– Mr. Nemil Panchamia, Mr. Jay Mehta and
Mr. Priyesh Ghosh mentored by Prof. Jalpa Mehta.

Second Prize in Project Poster Presentation

SAKEC Team secured 2 nd position in the project poster presentation held during
“Center Anniversary” in IETE House Mumbai. A group of 4 students are as follows:
Mr. Sachin Singh, Mr. Shivam Prajapati, Ms. Maithili Jain, and Ms. Pallavi Pandey.

We congratulate to Dr.Nilakshi Jain for Certified Ethical Hacker –CEH (EC-Council USA) Date 25th November 2017. The CEH certificate is EC-Council’s most popular and prestigious certification in Cyber security world.The CEH exam is a relatively new credential in the IT certification industry,but its importance and influence have grown quickly.The CEH certification gives “white hat” IT professionals a glimpse into the mindset of a typical hacker.

SAKEC Congratulates the team Coll_Shahandanchor_1 for ranking 1st Nationally and 50th Internationally at DATA MINING CUP 2019, Berlin, Germany (International Student Competition) that had participation from 114 Universities (28 Countries) all over the globe.Team Coll_Shahandanchor_1 was trained under AI & Deep Learning Special Interest Group, an initiative of SAKEC Research Cell.

Congratulates our TCS Codevita Competition Winners of Batch 2019-2020 for receiving Direct Employment Offer from TCS. Our bright mind Saiesh Khandare- Winner of Codevita Digital received an offer of 7 LPA from TCS. 50 FABULOUS EDUTECH LEADERS

The SAKEC family is very proud to share that Ms.Swati Nadkarni,I/c Head, IT Department is presented with the title “50 FABULOUS EDUTECH LEADERS” at the 8th World Education Congress. The theme of the Congress was “REORIENTING EDUCATION FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE”. The presentation ceremony was scheduled on 4th July, 2019 at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

Smart India Hackathon:2020

Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College(SAKEC) congratulates Team code4c@use for winning the 2nd prize at Smart India Hackathon(SIH) 2020.Team of 6 students and 2 mentors form Information Technology department was lead by Mr. Nishit Mistry consisted of members Ms.Khyati Prajapati, Ms.Virti Parekh, Mr.Parth Joshi, Ms. Charmi Sanghavi and Mr. Nill Shah and was mentored by Ms. Jalpa Mehta and Dr.Kranti Ghag. The team worked on the problem statement provided by Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) which was about development of an mobile application that could identify a crop only by its field photo.The Nodal center Gujarat Technological University(GTU),Ahmedabad.
SAKEC students have been participating in SIH since the last 4 years, and have achieved remarkable success in SIH. Smart India Hackathon 2020 is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving. SAKEC has won many prizes and this tradition is continued this year by SAKEC Team code4c@use.

Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College(SAKEC) congratulates Team SIX_FOLD for winning the prize at the Smart India Hackathon(SIH) 2020 for the problem statement MS342.The team composed of 6 students from the Information Technology and Computer Engineering Department.Mr.Mildeep Singh Pahwa led the team with Mr.Kunal Hirani, Mr. Harshit Parkar, Mr. Mahesh Katkar, Mr.Karan Chothani, and Ms.Riddhi Vyas. Ms.Dhanashree Toradmalle and Mr.Chetan Mahajan mentored the students for this national-level Competition.
