Department of Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) organized a Student development program on 6th July 2024 on “Touching Lives: Fabricating your dream career in semiconductor”. The esteemed speakers for this SDP were Mr. Sudhir Naik, Head, India Electronics Semiconductor Association , Midwest region, co-founder e-Infochips , an Arrow company and Mr. Milind Kamble , Delivery Centre Head, Tata Consultancy Services, Mumbai. The speakers delivered an enlightening and interactive session on upcoming opportunities in all avenues of semiconductor design and technology and the needed skills and competencies required to excel in the domain. Mr. Sudhir Naik talked at length on “Golden opportunities in semiconductor knocking your doors” and gave an insight into the plethora of opportunities hosted by this industry for the job sector, research and innovations. Mr. Milind Kamble gave his expert talk on “Importance and principles of engineering and its benefits in your years of learning: Industry perspective.”. The students actively participated in the sessions and all their queries were addressed at length by the speakers.
