Smart India Hackathon:2020

Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College(SAKEC) congratulates Team code4c@use for winning the 2nd prize at Smart India Hackathon(SIH) 2020.Team of 6 students and 2 mentors form Information Technology department was lead by Mr. Nishit Mistry consisted of members Ms.Khyati Prajapati, Ms.Virti Parekh, Mr.Parth Joshi, Ms. Charmi Sanghavi and Mr. Nill Shah and was mentored by Ms. Jalpa Mehta and Dr.Kranti Ghag. The team worked on the problem statement provided by Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO) which was about development of an mobile application that could identify a crop only by its field photo.The Nodal center Gujarat Technological University(GTU),Ahmedabad.
SAKEC students have been participating in SIH since the last 4 years, and have achieved remarkable success in SIH. Smart India Hackathon 2020 is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving. SAKEC has won many prizes and this tradition is continued this year by SAKEC Team code4c@use.

Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College(SAKEC) congratulates Team SIX_FOLD for winning the prize at the Smart India Hackathon(SIH) 2020 for the problem statement MS342.The team composed of 6 students from the Information Technology and Computer Engineering Department.Mr.Mildeep Singh Pahwa led the team with Mr.Kunal Hirani, Mr. Harshit Parkar, Mr. Mahesh Katkar, Mr.Karan Chothani, and Ms.Riddhi Vyas. Ms.Dhanashree Toradmalle and Mr.Chetan Mahajan mentored the students for this national-level Competition.

STTP on Cyber Security Tools and Techniques

Information Technology Department has organized One Week STTP on “Cyber Security Tools and Techniques” on 5th December to 10th December 2016. Objective of the Short Term Training Programme was to understand the various threats and vulnerability in Networking and how to secure, To learn about various methods and tools for cyber security and to demonstrate the tools & Techniques for Digital Forensic Analysis. The Key note address Speaker Dr. Deven Shah, TCET , Mumbai gave an overall idea about the Cyber Security Tools & Techniques. Excellent lecture sessions were taken by experts from various institutes and organizations. Hands on session on various open Source tools are conducted which helps faculties to conduct practical and the students to do research in a cyber security & Digital Forensic while pursuing M.E./M.TECH or Ph.D.

STTP on Open Source Tools with Hands on Lab

Information Technology Department has organized one week STTP on Open Source Tools with Hands on Lab from 14th December to 19th December 2015. Objective of the Short Term Training Programme was to Use software Tools in Various domains of Engineering,to Learn about different Categories of Open Source Tools ,To Demonstrate the working of open source tools .The Course content lectures were delivered by eminent speakers from various reputed institutes like TIFR,SPIT,TSEC.

STTP on Web & Mobile Application Development

Department of Information Technology of SAKEC ,organized AICTE-ISTE approved one week short term training program on “Web & Mobile Application Development” from 4th to 10th January, 2018.The STTP was inaugurated in the 4th floor auditorium by Chief Guest –Speaker Mr.Nilesh Vidhate from Cyber Indigo Net Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Bhavesh Patel, Dr. V. C. Kotak, Prof Swati Nadkarni . The keynote speech was delivered by Mr.Paresh Shah CEO (Allied Digital). The Course content lectures were delivered by eminent speakers from various reputed institutes.

AICTE-ISTE Sponsored Online Refresher Program on Developing Secure IoT Applications

Department of Information Technology of Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College had organized AICTE-ISTE Sponsored Online Refresher Program in three slots. First slot was held from 2nd to 7th November 2020, second slot was held from 23rd to 28th November 2020 and third slot was held from 14th to 19th December 2020.
Online Refresher Program was held three times to benefit a vast number of participants. It was aimed to highlight IoT concepts, latest trends and relate it with other technologies. The eminent speakers who are expert in this subject area presented their knowledge in the below mentioned topics during the online refresher program: Basic IoT Concepts, Circuit diagrams designing with Arduino, Utilization of Autonomous robots through IOT during Pandemic, Considerations Applications of IoT, Arduino programming, Raspberry Pi, IoT Applications, Blockchain for securing the Internet of Things, Penetration Testing using Kali Linux, Intellectual Property rights in IOT, IOT Application Protocols, IoT network Security, IoT with Machine Learning, LoRaWAN security and IoT Applications, IoT with Machine Learning, IOT middleware and system design-A Holistic View, Working with Cooja Simulator to develop Secure App, Emerging Trends in IoT, Security Primer for IOT, IOT and Cloud Security, Role of IOT in New Digital Age, and Yoga Therapy.
Microsoft Teams Live Event and Meetings were used to connect with audience.

STTP on Data Science Using Python

Department of Information Technology of Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College had organized ISTE approved one week online Short-Term Training Program on “Data Science Using Python” during 13th December 2021 to 18th December 2021. Inaugural ceremony started at 10:00 AM on 13th December 2021 in presence of Keynote Speaker Mr. Mustaffa Fatakdawada who is Machine Learning evangelist and associated with TCS Analytics and Insight group, Principal of SAKEC Dr. Bhavesh Patel, IT HOD Ms. Swati Nadkarni, staff and participants. STTP covered the following topics: –
