The Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC), Mumbai, in association with the EICTA Consortium, IIT Kanpur, successfully organized the Joint Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Prompt Engineering for Educators” from 19th June to 30th June 2026.
This online FDP brought together faculty members, researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from across the country to explore how Generative AI and Prompt Engineering are transforming teaching, learning, research, and curriculum development.
The program featured expert-led sessions on:

AI Tools for Educators and Capstone Project Presentations
The FDP also featured a session on “Literature Review, Summarization & Paper Writing” by Dr. Manisha Mane, FDP Coordinator, providing participants with practical insights into leveraging AI for research, academic writing, and scholarly communication.
