Yash Vyas and Monish Shah secured First Prize in the Project Competition at the Tech Expo held on 20th February 2026 for their innovative project titled “Dhvani – The Sound You Feel.”

Their project showcased a unique and impactful approach, reflecting technical excellence and creativity.

Solar Decathlon India Finalist: A competition focused on Net Zero and Sustainable Innovation

Received amount of 1, 25000 for the project Residential Cooling Retrofit Division.

The SAKEC team worked on designing a scalable retrofit solution that reduces cooling energy demand while remaining cost-effective for middle-income households. The design combined passive cooling strategies, energy modeling, and innovative materials, tailored for hot and humid climates.

AI Expert Session on Large Language Models (LLM) by Mr. Prateek Verma

 

An expert session on modern advancements in Artificial Intelligence and the Transformer Revolution was conducted on 13th October 2025 at the 7th Floor Auditorium of Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College. The session commenced at 10:00 AM with a formal introduction of the speaker, Mr. Prateek Verma, followed by a warm welcome from the organisers.

Mr. Verma began the session by discussing the transformer revolution in AI and its significant impact on technological progress. He elaborated on the transformer architecture, explaining essential concepts such as encoders, attention mechanisms, and feed-forward neural networks used within the encoder block.

The Departments of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, in collaboration with IETE-SAKEC, proudly organized TechFusion 2025: Telecom, IDEA Lab & AI Insights on 7th August 2025 at Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, Chembur.

Over 110 First-Year students and 8 faculty members from St. Xavier’s Technical Institute, Mahim joined us for an immersive afternoon of learning and exploration.
