Djangoverse

Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering student chapter CSI-SAKEC, in collaboration with the Computer Engineering Department and SAKEC-IIC 7.0, successfully organized an event
“Djangoverse” on March 19, 2025.

The session provided an insightful introduction to the Django framework, guiding students through the process of setting up a Django project and understanding its core components.
Participants learned how to create and manage models, build dynamic views and templates, work with forms, and effectively handle user input. The event also covered the integration of Django
with databases, enabling students to develop scalable, data-driven web applications. This hands – on experience offered valuable practical knowledge, helping students strengthen their backend
development skills and gain confidence in building real-world web solutions. Here’s to turning coding potential into impactful web development!

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science’s Cogniscience Club, in collaboration with the CSI SAKEC, successfully organized a highly engaging and creative session in the form of the Poster Making Competition – AI Artistry Extravaganza on 18th February 2025. This competition provided a unique platform for students to showcase their artistic talents while exploring the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence. The event aimed to foster an appreciation for AI among students while allowing them to express their creativity in a meaningful and visually appealing manner.

The AI Artistry Extravaganza not only highlighted the intersection of art and technology but also demonstrated how creativity can complement scientific advancements. By merging artistic vision with AI-driven concepts, students were able to engage with technology in a novel and exciting way. The event reinforced the idea that AI is not just about algorithms and computations but also about imagination, innovation, and ethical considerations.

The CSI-SAKEC student chapter, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Engineering, Cogniscience Club and SAKEC-IIC 7.0 successfully organized “GenAI: Unleashed”.

Generative AI is transforming industries by redefining content creation, automation, and problem-solving. Our recent event explored the core concepts of Machine Learning, neural networks, and deep learning, with participants actively experimenting with AI-generated content and enhancing their prompt engineering skills. Mr. Kaiser Momin and Jishanahmed AR Shaikh, brought their expertise to the table, shedding light on real-world GenAI applications. A comparative deep dive into DeepSeek and ChatGPT added valuable perspectives, and an interactive quiz wrapped up the session on an engaging note.

Flutter Flow: From Ideas to App

The CSI-SAKEC student chapter, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Engineering and SAKEC-IIC 7.0, successfully organized an event, “Flutter Flow: From Ideas to App,” with speaker Prashant R Dalai.

Participants explored Flutter’s core concepts, cross-platform capabilities, and industry adoption. Then, Prashant Dalai demonstrated FlutterFlow’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface for UI design. The session also covered app structuring, seamless page navigation, and best practices for creating efficient and visually appealing applications.

FDP on Salesforce Platform Developer-I

The Computer Department, SAKEC in collaboration with ICT Academy organized a short term training program on “Salesforce Platform Developer-I” from July 22-26, 2024. Resource person for the training was Ms. Saba Amir Shaikh, Technical Trainer – Training and Development, ICT Academy. Total 33 participants attended the training.

Objectives:
1 Your Guide to Trailhead : Find your way around Trailhead and start learning today.
2 Salesforce Platform Basic: Get introduced to the platform, navigate use cases, and build custom functionality.
3 Trailhead Playground Management: Create hands-on orgs, practice your Salesforce skills, and complete Trailhead challenges.
4 Data Modeling: Give your data structure with objects, fields, and relationships.
5 Formulas and Validations: Tailor your apps without writing code by using point-and-click logic.
6 Lightning App Builder: Build custom pages for Lightning Experience quickly with point-and-click tools.
7 Data Security: Control access to data using point-and-click security tools.
8 Approve Records with Approval Processes: Ensure that critical records are reviewed by the right people at the right time.
9 Apex Basics & Database: Use Apex to add business logic and manipulate your data in Salesforce.

The participants were able to solve the challenge on the discussed topics above. It is observed that participants improved on solving challenges session-by-session. All participants have enthusiastically solved all challenges and submitted the solutions online on Salesforce link. This will in turn help faculty members to guide the students doing projects and work as Salesforce Platform Developer in a systematic way.

Reality Reimagined: The AR Revolution

Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering student chapter CSI-SAKEC, in collaboration with the Computer Engineering Department and SAKEC-IIC 6.0, successfully organized an intercollegiate event “Reality Reimagined: The AR Revolution” on August 13th, 2024.

Augmented Reality (AR) is the future and we are thrilled to have played a part in shaping it . Under the expert guidance of Mr. Krunal Gediya, participants explored AR fundamentals, engaged with custom AR cards, created Snap filters, and explored advanced AR techniques.The event was a dynamic blend of theory and hands-on experience, leaving attendees inspired and eager to harness the power of AR. From understanding the core concepts to creating interactive AR experiences, participants gained valuable insights into the future of this transformative technology. With enthusiastic participation and exciting goodies, the event was a resounding success.
